Finalist for the 3 Quarks Daily science prize

Thanks to your votes, we made the longlist. Then the editors at 3 Quarks Daily chose six plus three wild cards to pass along to the judge. And we're on that list! See the list of fantastic finalists here.  If you aren't yet familiar with Sean Carroll, this year's judge of the competition, he's pretty awesome. Kevin and I are fans of his Cosmic Variance and I show the influence here and here.  Awards will be announced around June 25. Though, it's honestly prize enough to be a finalist and to be read by Sean Carroll.
